Offers in club catalogue are terrible

Offers in club catalogue are terrible. Nobody from IHG group sent out any information or updates why that happened. Looks like they just want to get away with that! Bad luck but customers see it so you cannot hide it! I’m very disappointed customer :(

Houston Galleria-area Crowne Plaza 7511 Katy Freeway

I must say that I have had good, positive experiences through about 8 to 10 stays at the Crowne Plaza Houston TX Galleria area hotel. At 7611 Katy Freeway/Interstate 10. Though showing its age just a tad. Though the pricing structure is a bit obscure -- to me, at least, and I have not researched it. Any number of caveats -- probably too few in number to cite, really. But with plenty of plusses, this hotel is an excellent value. And conveniently located, central to most Houston-area shopping and dining venues. I would give it 4 1/2 stars (out of five). The maintenance crew are responsive and top notch, when needed. Front desk personnel (Yesenia, Fatima, Shan, Deirdre, Carlos, Julio, Teigre, et al.) are generally right on top of things. They are one and all very personable and friendly, rendering excellent service. And most accommodating. Nice place to stay.

My husband and I have been an IHG…

My husband and I have been an IHG member since 2015. We have accumulated over 200,000 points and now they don't know want us to use them. When making reservations they want us to book a room using only 4000 of our points and pay $159.00 for the room. When I tell the customer rep that I want use my points, they suddenly don't have a room. They have the rooms when they want you to pay but not when you want to use the points that are yours. Biggest RIP off. The customer service is the worse ever. Needs a complete company over haul. Looking another rewards company.

Worst company ever!

Worst company ever. I have been an IHG elite
Member for the last five years and no their customer service is non-existent. 2 hours waiting on the phone today. They wanted me to call a UK phone number for US reservation
They are trying to cancel on me. Go stay with Marriott. You’ll be happier!

Health Hazzard Holiday Inn Express Waynesboro, VA

Dirty floor, tubs not cleaned, found pubic hair in tub, asked for housekeeping to come clean and she showed up with an unmasked young child in tow. Witnessed beds being made by unmasked housekeeping, and employees going unmasked around coffee and breakfast foods. It appears they provide housing for staff, as the same employees were seen throughout the day and evening sitting outside the lobby smoking. If you have respiratory conditions avoid this place as covid protocals are not followed or enforced and rooms are not properly cleaned. Covid aside, worst Holiday Inn I've ever stayed at, and ive stayed at many throughout the U.S..

basically they stole money from my credit card

I ordered a room at the Indigo Hotel in Dubai through IHG website- i cancelled within the cancellation window and received email that nothing to pay. Then i was charged for the night on my credit card. when i complained i was told that though i was right and should not have to pay the hotel will not return the money. IHG says its not their issue as they are not the merchant. BTW i am a Platinum member. The hotel has ignored my emails

Crowne Plaza Antalya should be ashamed to call itself an IHG five star

My stay at the Crowne Plaza Antalya was the worst thing ever. A supposed Five star hotel that offered a jail cell for a room and prison warden line surveillance where they checked you up and down. Can’t bring snacks or water from the outside and forced to buy inside from your profiteering hotel. Ridiculous, patronizing, complete lack of freedom and privacy. That place should lose its license ASAP. A complaint to the BBB should be next

Gave them money for nothing??

Made a reservation and deposit for Holiday inn waterpark hotel in Orlando in February 2020 for may 20, 2020 7 day stay on the IHG Website. Cancelled March 30th and confirmed April 5th. It is now October and after dozens of calls and several emails and promises that refund will be "Next Month" for last 6 months, I still have nothing from IHG!! What i do have is the knowledge that IHG is nothing more than an organization that does not meet its obligations. Look up what they did to Sonesta properties...Millions!!! These people are a false. Don't believe anything they tell you. Dont take the chance. They will take your money and give you nothing. I warned you.

Tinley Park IHG-3 Nights

I recently spent 3 nights (9/20-9/23) at the Holiday Inn in Tinley Park, IL; currently undergoing renovations. There was no food available and both guests and staff were NOT wearing facemasks from the manager on down. The maid staff always wore masks although my room was not cleaned for the 3 nights that I was there. I informed the front desk about ants in my toilet area. The guests included many work men who spent their evenings drinking and smoking outdoors leaving their trash for the maids to clean up every morning. I was also amazed at the guests cleaning out the trash from their cars and leaving it in the parking lot. Travel these days is not what it used to be.

IHG DOESNT CARE!!!!!

Not b only did I recieve HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE HOTEL!!!!
My experience after the hotel was EVEN WORSE!!!!! No management cared at all about my experience and when I went Further on the corporate level they wouldn’t even acknowledge my issue!! This company doesn’t give a DAMN about their patrons. They send emails just to send them. They hold no weight. Don’t STAY WITH THEM!!!!!! Believe me!!!!! Horrible customer service and horrible management!!!

A corporation without any care for…

A corporation without any care for customers.
I booked an hotel with them, but due to coronavirus the hotel was closed.
They refused to give me any refund and not even a voucher.
I sent hundreds of mails, contacted dozen of IGHG offices, and of course the hotel (Hoilyday Inn Berlin Centre) many times too.
IHG refuses to have anything to do with it even if I booked and sent my money through their site.
They are keeping my money even if it is against the law, so I am contacting european customer centre in order to uyphold my rights.
It is a shame, especially in this moment. It shows the true face of this company.

Distance from event was going to a BTS concert and the stadium was about 10 minutes from the hotel
